What is Sundilla?
May 3, 2008
Since 1996, the Sundilla Acoustic Concert Series has been bringing the world’s music to Auburn, Alabama.
This non-profit, volunteer-run music series provides original acoustic music in an intimate, gracious environment where it is enjoyed by listeners and performers alike.
Sundilla strives to embody the diversity of roots and folk music by opening the series to a wide variety of musical styles. Performers include nationally known, award winning singer-songwriters and up-and-comers playing everything from folk, Celtic and bluegrass to fast folk and alternative genres.
The concerts are usually held in the historic Auburn Unitarian Universalist building located at 450 E. Thatch Avenue in Auburn.

To keep up on the concert series you may want to go to Bailey’s website: www.sundilla.org
In closing, in case you wondered….where’d the name come from? Sundila is the name of a Creek Indian who used to own the land where the Unitarian building now stands. FYI
